My Story
A path shaped by curiosity, lived experience, and a clear understanding of what it means to feel truly well.

Hi, I’m Louise Martin.
I’m deeply interested in the way our bodies, minds and emotions are connected - and how small, thoughtful changes can help us feel more steady, nourished and at ease in everyday life.
Looking back, the path that led me here feels very natural. I studied PDHPE teaching at university, then explored nutrition, always following a curiosity about how we can support our health in practical and sustainable ways. But it was Ayurveda that truly resonated. Its gentle wisdom, emphasis on listening to the body, and nurturing approach felt both grounding and intuitive - a way of working that made sense not just in theory, but in real life.
Ayurveda has also deeply shaped my own life. Before discovering it, I experienced a range of ongoing health challenges and often felt out of balance within myself - physically, mentally and emotionally. There were periods of anxiety and overwhelm, low energy, digestive issues, and chronic discomfort in my body. Through this work, I’ve come to understand my body on a much deeper level, and how to support it in a way that feels sustainable and aligned. I now feel more steady, energised, and connected than I did in my twenties and thirties, with a sense of vitality and ease that continues to grow. This understanding has given me practical tools to support myself when things feel off, and a deep trust in the body’s ability to return to balance with the right support.
Outside of my work, I’m a country girl at heart - happiest when walking my beautiful cattle dog, spending time with friends, or pottering in my kitchen preparing simple, nourishing meals. You’ll also often find me curled up with a good book and a cup of chai.
If you’re feeling a little off-track and looking for support that’s gentle, grounded and respectful of where you are right now, you’re very welcome to reach out.

My Approach
I believe wellbeing is about more than addressing individual symptoms. It’s about creating balance in a way that supports the whole person — body, mind and lifestyle — and recognising that each person’s path to wellbeing is unique.
Whether through consultations, traditional Ayurvedic treatments, yoga, workshops or retreats, my approach is gentle, personalised and grounded in the understanding that meaningful change happens over time. Rather than relying on quick fixes or rigid rules, I focus on helping you reconnect with your body and build a deeper understanding of what supports your wellbeing.
Drawing on the wisdom of Ayurveda and a holistic view of health, I aim to make wellbeing feel accessible, practical and achievable. The practices and support I offer are designed to fit into real life, helping you cultivate greater balance, vitality and ease in a way that feels sustainable.
Above all, my intention is to create a warm and supportive space where you feel heard, cared for and empowered. A space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and take meaningful steps towards lasting wellbeing at a pace that feels right for you.
