My Story
A path shaped by curiosity, lived experience, and a clear understanding of what it means to feel truly well.

Hi, I’m Louise Martin.
I’m deeply interested in the way our bodies, minds and emotions are connected - and how small, thoughtful changes can help us feel more steady, nourished and at ease in everyday life.
Looking back, the path that led me here feels very natural. I studied PDHPE teaching at university, then explored nutrition, always following a curiosity about how we can support our health in practical and sustainable ways. But it was Ayurveda that truly resonated. Its gentle wisdom, emphasis on listening to the body, and nurturing approach felt both grounding and intuitive - a way of working that made sense not just in theory, but in real life.
Ayurveda has also deeply shaped my own life. Before discovering it, I experienced a range of ongoing health challenges and often felt out of balance within myself - physically, mentally and emotionally. There were periods of anxiety and overwhelm, low energy, digestive issues, and chronic discomfort in my body. Through this work, I’ve come to understand my body on a much deeper level, and how to support it in a way that feels sustainable and aligned. I now feel more steady, energised, and connected than I did in my twenties and thirties, with a sense of vitality and ease that continues to grow. This understanding has given me practical tools to support myself when things feel off, and a deep trust in the body’s ability to return to balance with the right support.
Outside of my work, I’m a country girl at heart - happiest when walking my beautiful cattle dog, spending time with friends, or pottering in my kitchen preparing simple, nourishing meals. You’ll also often find me curled up with a good book and a cup of chai.
If you’re feeling a little off-track and looking for support that’s gentle, grounded and respectful of where you are right now, you’re very welcome to reach out.

My Approach
Working together is a calm, collaborative process - one that begins by listening carefully to you and your experience.
I don’t believe in quick fixes or rigid plans. Instead, I offer personalised guidance that meets you where you are, supports your body gently, and fits into real life. My approach is practical, nurturing, and designed to help you feel steadier and more at ease over time.
Personalised and individual
Every person is different. I take the time to understand your health history, lifestyle, rhythms, and what’s currently feeling out of balance, so the support you receive is tailored specifically to you.
Gentle and supportive
There’s no pushing, fixing, or forcing. We focus on small, sustainable changes that feel kind to your body and realistic for your life.
Practical and everyday
The guidance I offer is simple and achievable - food, routines, and habits that support your health without adding pressure or complexity.
Guided by traditional wisdom, applied simply
I draw on time-honoured Ayurvedic principles and translate them into clear, accessible guidance that makes sense in modern life.
When we work together, there’s space to talk things through, ask questions, and move at a pace that feels right for you. Many people leave feeling clearer, more supported, and more connected to what their body needs.
If this feels aligned, you’re warmly invited to explore working together.
